Like all puppies, Patrick has his "Naughty" moments. I caught this one as Dana was filling the dishwasher. I think he just wanted to help out. What do you think ?

Getting bigger

We took Patrick to the vet Monday for his next round of shots. He is growing fast & now weighs in at 21.5 lbs. The vet said he is a very healthy puppy & he & the staff all love this little guy. We are looking to start him visiting a local assisted living fascility soon, we are just waiting on a call back from them. Patrick also has some funny ideas about how things are run around here. As you can see from the pics, when nap time comes, he doesn't care if you were there first, he is laying on HIS couch.














I guess because we live at the shore, Patrick must think there are pirates around. He is trying out for the job of being the first spotted parrot.


Woof, doggie want a biscut ?


We went to the fire station tonight for a couple of meetings. I took Patrick along to socialize with everyone & get used to the sights, sounds, & smells of the station. He had fun exploring, and as you can see, he wanted to go for a drive in our new tanker/pumper.




But my paws can't reach the pedals !




Daddy said he would push the pedals, I just have to steer!

Just another day at the Shore

Well it just got quiet again, these two just love to play, & one of thier favorite things is to tease each other as they race thru the house. Patrick has started to do some funny things lately. At night he climbs into bed, and just as we are comfortable, Patrick burrows under the covers to snuggle in by our legs. This doesn't last long, because we usually have to move him quickly because he runs his cold nose along our thighs making us jump. He then just looks at us like we are nuts, and has that very innocent look on his face.

Just a little quiet time together.





I think Snowy is trying to say "let us alone" or she is just saying " what's a matter, jealous?"

Hi Everyone, Thank you for the nice comments. We just wish that everyone who was lucky enough to get one of Gia's wonderful pups would start a blog. This way we could all follow the entire litter's progress. After watching the litter as they grew, we now miss seeing them all. The Rough housing Continues

We just love to watch these two at play, and wanted to share some of this with you.

Almost Trained

Patrick is learning so quickly, that he is just about house broken already. He still has a few accidents, but for the most part he asks to go out now. We are using positive training with him. When he has an accident, we put him outside & tell him this is where you go. When he asks to go out, & then does his business, we give him a training treat when he comes in. He now looks forward to those treats. He is so well behaved, that he does not try to snap the treat from our hands. He actually takes it so gently, that you hardly even feel him take it at all. We are so proud of him.

Growing Fast

Just a couple of pics of patrick relaxing on "HIS" love seat.

Well, it has been only 3 short weeks and Patrick is growing so quickly. When Patrick was taken to the vet with his littermates on Jan. 14th, he weighed in at 9.7lbs. Patrick went to the vet today for his second round of shots & the not so little boy weighed in at 15.1lbs.

We went to the show this past weekend & had a fantastic time. This was our first time attending a show & were very impressed. We had watched a couple of shows on tv, & after reading up on the standards that are judged, we were actually able to pick out the winners. We had been talking to some women that were showing thier Dals. & they said that they were familiar with Kingdom Dalmatians. We showed the a pic of Patrick, and they really seemed to like him. They also said that his nose will probably get all of it pigment, so we are now thinking of poss. starting to look at showing him. Whe they showed we knew that they were going to win, because of the way they moved & thier overall highly positive attitude. Thier Dals. were always happy and showed thier positive attitude & beautiful stance. Sure enough, they won. It was a totaly pleasant experience for us as everyone there was so nice & willing to talk with us. We also made a contact with a local club & we will be getting information from them as soon as they get all settled from the show. So it looks like we are on the way to getting him on his way.
